Latest mural complete in the Sky Lounge atop Capital One Arena for @monumental_sports
Huge thanks to my assistant @nnathanevanss / @nathanbasevans and to all the people over at Monumental, as well as the @capitals@washwizards and @washmystics for the opportunity to honor the city and the franchises through this artwork. Everyday is a win and a blessing, and getting to be apart of projects like these are truly dreams come true. The owner walked in while I was finishing up and gave me his stamp of approval so we are good to wrap! This one’s for DC all the way. 🔌
Today felt like home at the ribbon cutting for the Anacostia Recreation Center at Ketcham ❤️
Ward 8 families, neighbors, and students came together to celebrate a space built for connection — filled with games, arts and crafts, desserts, and plenty of laughter from kids and adults alike. We were also proud and tears flowed as we unveiled a mural by @sptheplug honoring Bernard ‘BJ’ Hodges and the power of community voices.
This center will serve as a gathering place for the neighborhood and an extension of learning and play for students at Ketcham Elementary School.
Delivered by @mayor_bowser , DPR, @DCDGS , and the community.
Welcome home, Ward 8. 🏡✨
Honoring a story that deserves to be seen. 🤍
Today marked the dedication of the Journey to Freedom Mural sign.
In collaboration with Leesburg Mayor Kelly Burk, the Town of Leesburg, Visit Loudoun, President of the Loudoun NAACP Branch Bishop Michelle Thomas, and the 89 Ways to Give Foundation, the event unveiled a permanent sign that provides historical context to Shawn Perkins’ Freedom Mural, highlighting Loudoun County’s connection to the Underground Railroad and the many who passed through on their path to freedom.

Honored to unveil the Signage & Dedication Plaque for the “Journey to Freedom” Mural at the Loudoun Museum in Leesburg, VA. Huge thanks to Mayor Burke, the community, Bishop Michelle Thomas, Carmen Felder & Santana Moss for allowing me the opportunity to bring this vision to life. It’s even more special to celebrate this final piece of the project during Black History Month during a time where not only stories like these, but personal liberties and freedoms of people are being attacked by our own leadership as a country. This new signage helps educate and bring context to those who may pass by, so that these stories are continued to be taught and told to the next generations to come.
Just dropped off this custom painted @washwizards ball at Capital One for a special event in partnership with @michelobultra 🏀 X 🔌
Excited to announce that I’ll be painting a new mural at the arena in the Player’s Tunnel for both the Wizards and @capitals this month. Getting to work with DC’s professional sports franchises is a dream come true, and I’m super thankful for every opportunity.
