We figured it was time to reintroduce you to our team, starting with our Creative Manager, Hannah Curran!
Hannah has been with the Arts Council for 3 years, and she wears many hats on our small (but mighty) team. Hannah is the big brain behind all of our designs for Artsfest, First Friday, and the Arts Council. She conceptualizes and executes branding and vision for all of our events. You might recognize her from Artsfest because she has run the tie-dye tent for the past 3 years! Her talent for working with kids is actually what brought her to us, as she started as one of our teaching artists! Now, when she’s not in the office being Creative Manager, she’s either teaching for our education programs or developing curriculum for her own classes as well as for our other educators.
They say, “Get you a girl who can do both”, so we did just that. Hannah is a jack of many trades and an artist herself. Most Mondays, she comes into the office with a new project or medium she’s picked up over the weekend. A creative both in and out of the office, she’s the most likely to say, “I don’t know how to do that, but I can figure it out.”
Do you want to see your art in a gallery?? Summer is in full swing at the SRAC's 2nd Annual Block Party! This open call show is looking for art that feels like summer in the Ozarks - weekends at the lakes, hikes in the Ozarkian hills, popsicles at the pool, and more! This open call show is all about celebrating summer fun through art. Share and send to your friends who might have art to contribute with these vibes!
Art drop-off will be on May 28 & 29 at the Creamery, and the Opening Reception will be on June 5 from 5-7PM!

Thanks to our amazing board members, volunteers, and staff, Artsfest was anything but a reality show. So much effort and work were put into this weekend, and luckily, there was fun and community amidst the chaos. We love Artsfest and our team!
