I'm excited to announce that our short documentary, "Burning To Heal," will be broadcast AGAIN on PBS 12 in Colorado tomorrow (Tuesday) night at 8pm MT. Sharing the message of a positive and proactive relationship with fire is more important than ever as we move into summer. Many thanks to the Colorado Environmental Film Festival for helping make the connection for TV distribution.

This is a very special thanks and shoutout to everyone we connected and worked with throughout October! It was an amazing month returning fire to the forests, attending film festivals, meeting Indiana farmers, video editing marathons till 3am, hanging photographs, and driving thousands of miles.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ To everyone on the panel and attending the Eugene Environmental Film Festival, thank you for spreading the word about positive and proactive fire practices. We need more positivity in the world. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ These past weeks were an incredible and hectic adventure, but some rest is now needed. I’m excited to share more of these projects soon, but for now I’m deleting the social apps off my phone and honing my focus. Don’t hesitate to text or message me directly, and I’ll be checking the social channels occasionally.

The trailer for “Burning to Heal” is now online! This short documentary has been our passion project this year and I’m excited to say it’s already been accepted into two film festivals with more entries on the way. ⁣ ⁣ Sharing these stories about fire and community resilience is so important. With hotter and dryer summers leading to increasing fire seasons, I’m hoping storytelling like this can help us reimagine our relationship and future with fire.

I hope lots of people get to have an amazing experience during the solar eclipse today. I’m not in totality this year, but I got my fill back in 2017. It’s not hype, this was one of the most profound experiences and best weekends outdoors ever.
