We have to get very focused on solving this issue. Not talking about it. Not wishing it well. Doing something meaningful because we are about to have a city that doesn’t work for anyone. #whywegather
Honored to join VP @kamalaharris and 75,000 fellow Americans at one of her final campaign speeches. I spoke about the vital role of small businesses and shared why I believe she’s the right leader for the job. #whywegather #connectionsbreakbarriers
Are we gonna keep bragging about making six figures or are we gonna employ some people this year??
@spotonrw put the battery in my back with this one. We’re going 8 & 9 Figures as a RESPONSIBILITY not as a flex.
Our community is going to provide more opportunity & higher wages this year! Who’s going to add to the solution with me?

The question is not whether Atlanta will grow. It will. The question is: Who will get to stay and build wealth from that growth?
The piece makes the case for a commercial vacancy tax, a Legacy Business and Commercial Affordability Fund, community land trusts, and a real strategy to move Black-owned firms from survival-stage to employer-stage.

I have two businesses and two homes in Fulton county and it’s time for some change. Outcomes in the south of the county aren’t acceptable. Leadership has been in place for decades. I’m supporting @themoivory to be the next chair. Let’s get serious. #whywegather
Thank you @claytonstateuniv college of business and Dr. Melva Robertson for having me as your keynote speaker for the leadership impact summit. #whywegather
This week, I graduated from Leadership Atlanta as a part of the class of 2026. There isn’t enough space here to fully recap the experience, but it has been one of the most significant of my personal and professional life. Over the last 9 months, I met some amazing people that I wouldn’t have met otherwise. We talked about some of the pressing challenges of our time and what to do about them! Love to my program group, my study group and the entire class. The best/greatest class ever. #whywegather #leadershipatlanta
