Beyond fashion, artists like Vanessa Barragão and Courtney Mattison are literally rebuilding oceans through their work and Mariko Kusumoto creates textile pieces that feel like they were lifted straight from underwater worlds.
Matthieu Blazy for Chanel just makes sense, one of those connections you feel instantly.
Resort 2027 feels grounded and sharp at the same time, effortless silhouettes with real structure, classic Chanel codes like tweed and layering still there, just lighter, more wearable, more now.
The styling team did a great job, everything feels intentional but not forced, looks you can actually imagine off the runway and the accessories are to die for, they add that extra cool, current touch.
I just hope the people at the top understand the value Matthieu brings to the brand and don’t let outside interests get in the way if you know what I mean… ✌🏽

In the first picture, my grandmother shortly before she was taken by the Nazis into a truck with other children. They were all meant to be burned alive. My grandmother jumped out of the truck. She survived.
In the second picture, my grandfather.
He was only 14 years old when he was sent to forced labor camps, where he was forced to work building railroads twenty-four hours a day without stopping. One day, the Nazis shot him. He was found by the Soviet army a few days later, bleeding under the snow. My grandfather survived the Holocaust. He lost his parents and two of his brothers.

Today, I am here to tell the story of the victory of my heroes, my grandparents, who survived the death camps and the endless torture of the Nazis.
Today, I am here to remind you where hatred can lead us.
