Another 3 points for Sporting as we emerge the victors after a 2-0 win against LFE FC,
It wasn’t to be for either team first half with both teams having good chances to go ahead.

Both teams still goalless at the 70’ until a long ball from Sporting’s goalkeeper Julian found Crane in the box who heads home past the keeper to give Sporting the lead.
It was McGahan who added to the tally after battling hard down the right wing then running centrally, found himself 1 on 1 with the keeper and slots home to make it 2-0!

A tough game for the Sporting as we battle out a 1-1 draw against FCV Grace Dieu,
A good FCV front line kept the sporting defence busy in the first half, but it was Sporting who dealt the first blow through a Jack Allen header, Grace Dieu managed to strike back just before half time to bring it back level

Both sides came out the blocks well for the second half and both looking to push on for the win, but both defences stayed strong.

And it’s back to winning ways for the sporting boys! With the returning Harding coming straight back into the starting 11, Sporting flew out the blocks early and got themselves an early goal through McGahan.
It was then Tansley who added to the lead to make it 0-2!

With the fire power Lutterworth had, the lads knew they couldn’t take their foot off the gas and had to battle again for the second 45’
A Harding header from a corner makes it 0-3 to the boys to give themselves a cushion.
Then a shocking decision by the referee sees Tansley received a straight Red card.
Sporting manage to stay strong at the back and see the rest of the game out.

Another poor result for the Sporting lads in yet another Semi final as we lose 2-1 to Dunton and Broughton.
A slow start from the lads saw us go 1-0 down in the first half. And battling against the wind the lads struggled to find any clear chances until Crane found the net from a set piece bringing us level before the half

It was Dunton again who found the net after a scramble in the box fell to the waiting Dunton player at the back post who forced the ball over the line to make it 1-2 to the visitors.
Sporting piled on the pressure late but just couldn’t find that equalising goals.
