Artist Spotlight: Tango Volcado
Tango Volcado, formed in 2009, is a Spokane based tango group whose aim is to familiarize people with the sound of tango, not just the dance. Although they cannot wait to dance with you as well! There are 4 members of this ensemble, Patricia Bartell playing Accordion, Jody Graves playing Piano, Eugene Jablonsky playing Bass and Tana Bland playing Violin.
The SJO will warmly welcome them to take the stage on May 9th at the 49th season finale.

Your local tango group, Tango Volcado, will be performing with the SJO. This talented group of musicians specializes in a genre of tango called nuevo tango, an Argentine traditional tango with elements of jazz and a dash of classical music.
