Arsitektur sebenarnya sangat erat dengan kehidupan dan manusia itu sendiri. Akan tetapi, terkadang arsitek lupa akan hubungan antara ruang, kehidupan, dan arsitektur dan terjebak dalam hal-hal berbau fisik. Terkadang arsitek juga mungkin lupa untuk melihat arsitektur dengan lebih dalam dan peka. Hal ini berbeda dengan Rahmat Indrani atau yang kerap disapa Kibo. Ia berusaha melihat karyanya dengan dalam, detail, dan sensitif.
Rahmat Indrani lulus dari sarjana arsitektur Institut Teknologi Nasional tahun 2012. Setelah lulus, ia memulai karirnya di djuhara+djuhara dan bertemu dengan alm. Ahmad Djuhara yang memberikannya pelajaran tentang bagaimana mencintai arsitektur dan ruang hidup melebihi entitas subjek bersemat arsitek. Di tahun kelimanya bekerja, ia memutuskan untuk membangun bironya sendiri di tahun 2016 yang bernama SPOA (Small Perception Object Alternative).
SPOA menggunakan pendekatan detail dalam menghasilkan karya-karya mereka. Dalam hal ini detail tidak harus berupa objek, melainkan bagaimana kedalaman dan sensitivitas dapat bersinggungan dengan objek, bagaimana ruang dan kehidupan dapat bersinggungan dengan arsitektur, serta bagaimana arsitektur bisa hadir dalam kehidupan.
Memiliki visi yang sederhana, SPOA berusaha memberikan alternatif kepada kehidupan keruangan dengan pendekatan yang kecil dan sensitif seperti yang dapat kita lihat pada ReduHouse. ReduHouse adalah seri rumah reduksi SPOA yang dirancang untuk memberikan alternatif bagi orang yang memilih hidup di ruang yang sederhana. Di samping ReduHouse, SPOA juga merancang Smiljan Space, sebuah ruang multifungsi dimana kita dapat merasakan pengalaman multisensori lewat beragam aktivitas sambil menyeruput specialty coffee.

Rahmat Indrani, a native of Jambi born on August 24, 1989, has quickly established herself as a prominent figure in the Indonesian architectural scene. After graduating with a degree in architecture from the Bandung National Institute of Technology in 2012, Indrani cut his teeth in the field by working at the esteemed Djuhara+Djuhara architectural firm.
Indrani’s talent and dedication were recognized early on. In 2016, she clinched the top prize in the Onduline Green Roof Design competition, showcasing his innovative approach to sustainable architecture. His impressive achievements led to his selection as a featured Indonesian designer by ORBIT BEKRAF in 2017.
Driven by her passion and vision, Indrani founded his own architectural firm, SPOA architects, in 2016. Since then, SPOA has been responsible for a wide range of groundbreaking projects. One of Indrani’s most notable initiatives is the reduhouse series, a program launched in 2017 that explores innovative and sustainable housing solutions.
Through his work at SPOA and his contributions to the architectural community, Rahmat Indrani continues to inspire and shape the future of architecture in Indonesia.

Rahmat Indrani graduated from the Architecture program at the Institut Teknologi Nasional Bandung, in 2012. Initiating his career in architecture, he worked at the Djuhara+Djuhara architectural bureau from 2012 to 2016.
In 2016, Rahmat won the design competition organized by Onduline, titled ‘Onduliene Green Roof Design,’ securing the first prize. In 2017, he was selected as the chosen Indonesian designer by ORBIT BEKRAF.
Rahmat founded SPOA Arsitek in 2016, and since then, he has been actively involved. In 2017, he initiated the Reduhouse Series program, which continues to the present.”

Based on the theme "Envisioning Nature", this place is designed to rebuild connections between humans and nature, one of which is the urban forest. While the bar and table itself are modular and not permanent which can be changed and moved as desired, with @spoa.ae 's signature masculine industrial style and a layout designed for open discussion. Various choices of delicious refreshing beverages from @smiljan.space are served here, from non-coffee to manual brew with the best line up of self-roasting beans.
