Fun fact, this was costume 3 on the day - work, setting up at LE, and this was the final. I think I could have done better because it took @amaughan1 , a fan of the series, seeing the gloves to put it together 🤣
Great crowd last night, lots of good energy. Felt good to be on stage with my people again.

I have an extremely rare free, all ages, public show coming up on Thursday night at the Gallivan Center with my "country" band Rhinestone Rodeo. The event is 6p-10p but the band is 730-930. Just an FYI in case you can make it, we'd love to see you out there!
There will be something for everyone - line dancing, beer tents, custom hat bars, mechanical bull, mini golf, cornhole...

I wasn't going to weigh in on this, but it's too important to stay silent about. I've learned first hand just how much silence can take away from and harm us and I'm hurting so much seeing all of this. I will not remain silent or powerless.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again - people stay getting upset about the wrong things. This sudden outrage.? We see it. There has been so much killing and death in very recent history, but THIS is what brings out your passion? NOW you agree that "no one deserves to die," and "this is dividing us"? Is it because it's someone that looks familiar to you, because he talked in public like you do in private, or what? It can't just be because a man died. Melissa Hortman did too, but where was your outrage then? The countless unnamed people in Palestine matter. Countless named American people that look like me matter. Thinking about the answers to "why" upsets me the most.
There are full on genocides happening, takings of and attempts on the lives of politicians, harassment and harm of every type of marginalized group you can think of, and yet you stay silent on that. I don't get it. I won't try. I'll continue to watch and take care.
A lot of people REALLY need to reevaluate what lies in their hearts and motivations. Please, take your heads out of the sand and look around you before it's too late, and act with compassion not only when something happens in your house. Your neighbors are people too, and chances are they're good ones.
Hate needs and breeds more of the same. Try a better path instead -

Now while I love you all so, you're all exhausting with this "Crips and Bloods" BS y'all have turned American politics into. This constant "us vs them" leaves us in a tragedy that Shakespeare could never dream up. Also, remember how Rome fell? With this, I hope to help somebody see and fix their own running lack of empathy and selective compassion.
