For years, there have been attacks on critical infrastructure that appear to involve right-wing extremism. Our latest from #Hatewatch at the 🔗 in bio analyzes a recent incident in Nevada that appears to be linked to white power accelerationism. Since early 2020, federal authorities have been largely successful in breaking up the leadership of groups or online networks that promote white power accelerationism, but the persistence of accelerationist-driven attacks or plots on infrastructure shows how their tactics have persisted in a decentralized online movement.
