It has been very hard for me to do a real post for a good while, but I want to share about this beautiful person that I was so, so lucky to have in my life. Carol Leigh might be the funniest, smartest, and sweetest person that I’ve ever met. I hadn’t met anyone so witty, savvy, and endearingly quirky until I met Carol Leigh in college. I was amazed at how she could spit out the most accurate, funny, niche references so quickly at anytime. She was so smart and savvy, she could relate in conversation with anyone. She was sincere, but also had such a goofy and eccentric [in the best way possible] side which made her a safe space for you to be yourself. Even though a lot of her humor could be of the self-deprecation kind, she very much knew herself and her worth. And don’t mess with her friends or family! She could be protective and assertive if she felt it called for. She was from Jersey, after all. She was truly selfless and liked to make sure that those close to her were pleased and comforted. At the end of most interactions with Carol Leigh, she would leave you laughing and hopeful and trusting that things will be okay. Or, like, soon it will- she along with everything might be running a little late! Lol If she was able to, she would always show up for you. I wish that I could have had more time with her. I’m mad at myself for letting work and distance hinder me from making it so. Our last recent catchups and her visit to the city for my birthday a couple years ago ensured that we still shared a true friendship. And that we still shared our stupid, unadulterated love of A Goofy Movie. We sang it at a karaoke bar that night. I love you, Carol Leigh. It’s hard to accept that we can’t make plans anymore and that I won’t see you again. I promise to keep the times we had close to my heart and to relate to others all of the hilarious and profound things you did and said. I miss you.🩷

Tender Thoughts is the sweetest short film that I’ve ever worked on. Its message and execution really touches you. I can’t be more grateful to have the opportunity to work on it.💜🪻🌱 (Again tagging later bc I’m running out but enjoyed working with every one on this set.) 😊

✨It has been a MINUTE✨ Thought I’d actually post some stuff that I had been up to 2024 at the beginning of this year 2025. -I’m a month late, but let’s pretend I did. 2024 was a pretty challenging year for me. I had developed some health things and a couple injuries starting from the latter part of 2023. In 2024 they really became debilitating to a point where I had to accept that I had to take a moment and figure myself out a bit. Cubital tunnel in my hands and arms and PPS in my knees definitely affected my life and work so much. And I blame cubital tunnel for the lack of my usual online (posting) presence. It is hella hard to try to not hold your phone and refrain from doing things like editing and typing a lot. BUT I DIGRESS. Despite all that mess, I recognize that I did have some amazing opportunities and moments this past year. I was able to work with some really special people (new and recurring ❤️) and projects, some projects achieved also great recognition, and I get to work at the place where I had wanted to work since I was baby singer. Via a different career choice, but it’s still pretty cool. This post is wordy, but here are some fun BTS things from 2023.✨ More to come and with less caption. Lol Also. Looking at my hands, it is no wonder that they are busted. Thank god for PT. 🙌🏽
