As the world falls apart under growing oppression and Cold War tactics from major powers, music remains one of the purest ways to let soul and body escape the suffocating pressure of the society we are drifting into. We Lost The Computer delivers six tracks by Oppressed Society, crafted with ❤️, and shaped during a pivotal time of learning and discovery. Expect a mix of cold, loopy techno and deeper, melodic cuts — all bouncing with raw energy ⚡. This EP was created when we had just gotten a brand-new computer — a tool that allowed us to level up and finally believe in what we were making . But for some mysterious reason, the computer crashed for good after only a month, and we lost everything 🪲. Luckily, we had uploaded some wav files privately to SoundCloud to listen on different systems . Today, we want to share these musical fragments with you, frozen in time when the computer shut down for the last time ❄️. 🚨RELEASE ALERT🚨 What’s up people ? We’re here today with some big news ! Our first ever release is now out on @evolove.musics for their « Crimson Dusk » VA alongside talented musicians @ferqli.exe @stourm___ @armando_360_soundvision @alfred.flac @keugre_ . It’ s such an honour to be part of their adventures because the evolove team are some of the most beautiful souls on earth. When we sent them our demos, they immediately loved this track, and as it was the first track we were actually proud of. So it made so much sense that we had to release it on their imprint.✨ So 12/02 is a particular day, because it’s our first release, but also because it’s the day Tom’s parents first met in 1996 at the infamous Cherry Moon club in belgium in front of the wizard Jeff Mills . Thank you 2024, thanks to all of you, and to those who put their trust in us, they will recognize ✨ 2024 was a year full of emotions, gigs and smiles with you. this summer we had the chance to do our first weekend with double performances in 2 different cities (and even 2 countries). It was a crazy experience, very tiring but sooooo rewarding. We thought it would be cool to share a little « VLOG » of what seems to be the climax of our DJ year.
