Daisy Juma, an Assembly Line Team Associate joined Spiro a year ago clueless about electric motorcycles. She chose to learn.
Today, she assembled bikes with confidence and care. She is among many young #WomenOfSpiroKE at the assembly line driving #EnergyOnTheMove.
Before every bike hits the road, there is a standard of excellence that must be met and women like Maureen Mbogo are helping set the standard.
As a Quality Team Associate, Maureen represents the growing number of women shaping the future of electricity mobility from within.
Through Spiro Academy, we are intentionally building a pipeline of skilled female talent, equipping women with technical expertise, hands-on experience, and opportunities to thrive in the E-Mobility sector.

Spiro Kenya is proud to celebrate the women who are helping drive Africa's electric mobility transition.
In the month of March, we continue to recognize the incredible women across our teams from manufacturing to operations & leadership, women who are powering innovation and building the future of sustainable transport.
Globally, women make up less than 20% of the transport workforce. At Spiro, we are committed to changing the narrative by creating opportunities, building inclusive teams and ensuring women are not only part of the clean mobility transition, but also leading it.
#IWD2026 #GiveToGain
This International Women’s Day, we celebrate the women whose boldness fuels innovation and progress across Spiro and the communities we serve.
Together, we are powering a cleaner, electric future. #IWD2026

We celebrated Valentine’s Day the Spiro way, with care, service, and safety. 💖⚡
Across Rwanda, Kenya, Uganda, Togo, Benin, and Nigeria, our teams offered free service and safety checks for riders, because the people who trust us every day matter most.
Sustainable mobility isn’t just about electric bikes. It’s about protecting livelihoods, building confidence, and making every journey safer.
Thank you to our riders, technicians, customer service, marketing, and field teams for showing up with heart.

Kenya has taken a decisive step toward cleaner transport with the launch of its National Electric Mobility Policy. ⚡
The framework accelerates the shift to electric mobility, especially electric two-wheelers, while prioritising emissions reduction, energy security, local manufacturing, skills development, and the rollout of charging and battery-swapping infrastructure.
As transport emissions continue to rise, e-mobility stands out as both a climate solution and an economic opportunity; creating jobs, lowering operating costs for riders, and leveraging Kenya’s predominantly renewable energy mix.
The introduction of green number plates for EVs further signals strong policy momentum toward sustainable mobility.
