Pretty awesome seeing the transformation of the external grounds of this beautiful Mosman residence… New arch steel doors now going in, all structural walls and stone work nearing completion, New pool, New terrace tiled and all posts renewed with details to match existing. Another few weeks will see all steel balustrades and fencing going in and the site will be ready for the @spiritleveldesigns to roll out the green carpet to make it all look complete! @hr_constructions
Design doesn’t stop at the back door.
When your interiors and landscaping are considered together, the result isn’t just a beautiful home — it’s a seamless experience. Sightlines align, materials flow, and every space feels connected with purpose.
At Ann King Design, we collaborate with trusted landscaping experts to ensure the overall design aesthetic is considered as a whole - inside and out.
Because the magic happens when everything speaks the same language.
This fabulous project was the work of @spiritleveldesigns Always a pleasure to work with and the results are always exceptional.
Creating places in the garden to share stories, share feelings and listen to each other is the starting point when we start designing gardens. Add fire, dappled light and a sense of being hidden from the world, these places can become magical.
Gardens get better with age. The stone weathers, the plants mature and start to form relationships. Our ambition is to create gardens that feel as though they have always been there. We started work on this garden in the back streets of Paddington almost 20years ago. I hope it is there for many years to come.
The landscape is beginning to find its voice, framing the house in a quiet, unfolding dialogue with the earth.

Blurring the lines between the straight lines of tradition, and something looser, fresher and more relaxed. Great collaboration with #embece to create a beautiful home in Mosman.
Thyme is planted between the cracks in the stepping stones. It will get crushed as you walk out to the pergola. The sky, the horizon and the granite boulders are the most incredible backdrop to this garden.
Looking from the Chestnut Courtyard to the pergola. You walk through the southern walk, planted with familiar and tough perennials, able to cope with the extreme Bigga climate. Recycled brick paving creates an earthy materiality, as do the hardwood beams in the pergola, beautifully put together by Dooley's team at #dooleyoutdoors
