@o______w___p_____c____ invites you into a liminal experience mediated by flute and synthesizer.
@spiralexi was found dwelling in caves, confusing physical shapes with the internal, symbols on the wall reflect off the water, the Earth spins breathing dawn into dusk.

This song is a hazy dawn that will loop you back into the intro. Talking to a friend of mine @moniji___ we realised that this EP is a cycle from morning to dawn.
It’s so much fun making these connections and stumbling on happy accidents, I think that a lot of my music is like that. A stream of consciousness that only makes sense once I’ve let it go.

The first song in the EP is a representation of a pure body, thoughts haven’t formed yet. The calling from nature isn’t a distant memory but an ocean that you’re still swimming in. It’s titled after a forest somewhere.

Pyramids as Water
It feels amazing after 2 years to finally release control of this song and upcoming EP. I was chasing my tail until I starved my spirit of space to breathe, trying to chisel these songs into perfect form to save the part of me that didn’t want to be seen, stay stuck in the same swamp. Well to that I say farewell my friend. You’ve served me well but it’s time for us to part ways <3

FEB 1st - Birth of Spirals EP launch!
It feels amazing to finally be ready to release my music, it took me 2 years of twiddling my thumbs. I wasn’t comfortable being seen in this way, revealing the swamps I swim in sometimes. I was chasing perfection and that got boring enough eventually so here we are!
The idea of the EP is the timeline of growing up, from a little foetus to a larger nervous system, adapting to a world that no longer feels close to our home, Earth.
If you ever feel like swimming in calm or rough seas, I hope this EP can give something for you to relate and feel seen.

This single is part of the upcoming EP ‘Birth of Spirals’ (FEB 1ST) a project that I’ve been sitting on for two years now, perfectionism had me chasing my own tail, no more!
This project was an unconscious means to test myself, doing the Production, Mixing and Mastering myself. Funnily enough I was then afraid to release it, felt too personal and revealing having this music out, well here it is! And to many more releases, with love, Spiral Lexi xx
