It was those shows that originally inspired me to try standup comedy myself! So being able to reach my target with a show there was quite special for me

What a graduation show that was!
After having this idea in the back of my mind for years, I finally decided to sign up to this 8 week course in standup comedy, and try it for myself.
8 weeks ago I was absolutely TERRIFIED. I could hardly imagine standup up there and doing anything other than sweating and panicking.
8 weeks later, I've had the time of my life. Truly a life changing experience.
What a community we've become. I've been surrounded by the most amazing, wonderful, supportive, smart, and of course absolutely hilarious people.
After years of people telling me I would be terrible at this, thank you to @erin.does.things for being the one person to say the opposite and give me the confidence to try.
Thank you to @alexnasse1 - I wouldn't have dared sign up if it weren't for knowing you'd be the one running this. You're a real hero of the Amsterdam scene, the community wouldn't be what it is without you.

Our "official" time together is over and that makes me sad but of course we are all part of the same scene now, so you aren't getting rid of me that easily! ♥️
