"Creative expression is a powerful way to explore feelings in a safe, unjudgmental manner.” Now on display in the outdoor art frames along The Avenue, 'Neurodivergent Rehabilitation' by artist LoveArtPix (Dez) shares the story behind his groundbreaking Neuro-Expression Art Focus (NEAF) course at HMP Manchester. Created to support neurodivergent prisoners through art, the programme offers a safe space to explore identity, process emotions and build self-awareness. The resulting works are powerful reflections on what it means to better understand yourself. This exhibition shines a light on the transformative role creativity can play in rehabilitation and the impact of giving people the tools to find their voice. Take a walk down The Avenue to see the the works yourself 🎨

📍@sticksnsushi.uk // this latest Manchester Japanese hot spot really has Japandi vibes in both the food and decor right in the middle of Spinningfields. I love that the menu has a lot of skewers with loads of different options, it really feels like it’s the missing piece for Japanese restaurants in Manchester. The standout for me was definitely the temaki setto. You get different fillings like wagyu tartare, trout roe, and lobster, then wrap your own little hand rolls at the table. It’s super fun to eat and all the combinations worked so well together. They’ve also got classic nigiri plus a really good range of small plates if you want to order a few things to share!
