I finally made it to the top of Dog Mountain ♥️ This was a little extra meaningful for me because 9 years ago I attempted this hike and was not able to finish, which was unusual for me. A few days later I found out I had a large tumor on my left ovary.
So many people supported me through the following years and procedures, and it felt so good to finally have the opportunity to do this again with the very friend I’d gone with the first time. Of course the summit was totally socked in with clouds so I’ll have to go back again sometime for the view 😂
