The INSTITUTE Melbourne / Jerk Fest weekend was massive 💥 and their short run of shows in Australia is now over 💔 a massive thanks to @antifaderecords for releasing their 7” and putting them on such an epic fest 🫡 as well as @_bodymaintenance and @celphone @zipper.unzipped for help with backline - I am extremely grateful 🙏 plus @thetotehotel and @thornburybowls @liameagleburger for having us, @iwannabeyourmod and @celphone (again!) for help with the merch and everyone that came to the gigs and showed Institute the best time in Australia (and sorry if I missed thanking you but as much as I try, this is never a solo effort) xxx

Und zwar so, dass auch nach über 8-jährigem Kiefertraining (Letztes Release Sommer/2017: "Sailing a crazy ship") die Kauleiste nach den ersten Takten vom neuen Meisterwerk "Phase IV" gen Boden geht. Hörbeispiele können wir hier irgendwie nicht mehr einfügen, aber mit ein paar Mausklicks werdet ihr bei Bandcamp & Co. rasch fündig. Instagram nervt. Der Algorithmus noch mehr. 🫆 Wer sich immer gewünscht hat, dass SS DECONTROL Musik für Kiffer machen und BLUE ÖYSTER CULT Riffs für Straight Edge Kids schreiben, der:die wird bei dem Quintett aus Texas seine:ihre Erfüllung finden. Hochgeschwindigkeitsparts wechseln sich auch auf der neuen Scheibe ab mit Stomp-Einladungen, bluesigen Ausflügen, psychedlischen Auswüchsen und -man mag es kaum glaubigen- mit thrashigen Breakdowns. ⚔️ Der Befehl zum Moshen haftet an den Songs wie geschmolzenes Panzertape auf der JUZ-Bühne und alle diejenigen, die auf die Show-Ankündigung mit "Was? Die gibt's noch?" reagiert haben, wissen eh, wo sie am 22. November gefragt sind. 👹 Und ja, WICCANS spielen in Burghausen ihre einzige Deutschland-Show.
