Big News! SpiderWebShow founder and Artistic Director Adrienne Wong has been selected as a finalist for the 2025 @siminovitchprize !
The Siminovitch Prize is a celebration of Canadian theatre, honouring excellence and innovation since 2001. This year recognizes the work of theatre creators whose work does not fall strictly into the three established Siminovitch Prize categories that rotate between directors, playwrights, and designers.
Congratulations to the finalists—Estelle Shook, Ravi Jain and Anne-Marie Olivier—whose work is part of redefining Canadian theatre in the 21st century.
The 2025 Siminovitch Prize Laureate will be announced on December 1, 2025.

Visit our new temporary exhibition space in Kingston for the opening reception of 𝘒𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘤𝘴! @imandatoo 's exhibition brings together botany, cartography and storytelling to consider forces of agency, liveness and animacy between plants, soils and people. Iman proposes—and invents—the term “kinnomics” to name a broad set of trans-disciplinary approaches that move between ecologies and differing value systems.
