If you got tired of playing basic chords over and over again. Here is a tutorial to help you spice it up and make every one in the room dance!
In this tutorial I’m demonstrating an alternative way for playing the basic chords of: Dm - Gm - A
Dm = Dm6 🌶
Gm = Gm6 😱
A = A7 🚀
In the end of the tutorial I played a vamp with these chords in a style of one of my idols “Django Reinhardt” who was an iconic gypsy Jazz guitar player (active between 1928–1953). Make sure to check him out!
💡Tips:
* Work on each chord individually
* Strum 4 down strums for each chord, and try to keep a short jumpy sound (that’s how it is done in gypsy jazz)
* Try to use the alternative shapes in other songs.
