ARTIST COMMISSIONS #1 - MUSICFUTURES This year, we are proud to welcome several local artistic commissions in collaboration with MusicFutures. Each artist will be presenting a new performance written specifically for the unique 360-degree stage at Kapsule, Invisible Wind Factory. Fearon is an experimental musician from Liverpool, UK. They have no set genre, straddling between industrial, EBM, black metal, avant-garde and folk. Victor Serge presents: an electronic cultural revolution, dance as an act of defiance, music as pure joy. Let loose to a specially curated sonic tapestry that will not only open your mind, but enrich your soul. Subvert cynicism and be nostalgic for the future. Being, not doing. Why stay in, when you can go out? Tickets available on Fatsoma & DICE. 20% off for Quarry members (link in our bio) Featuring: Transmission Towers: A cosmic duo that fuses interplanetary beats with stripped-back soul and highlife afro-futurism. Born from the shared love of '80s and '90s electronic music, Mark Kyriacou and Eleanor Mante create a unique and compelling sonic journey. Their music is a reflection of their diverse backgrounds and experiences, blending elements of machine-soul sounds with afro futuristic roots. As they continue to evolve and explore new musical territories, Transmission Towers promises to deliver a captivating and unforgettable live listening experience. Victor Serge: Will put beats and melodies to their own internal dialogue. Their motto is 'Why stay in, when you can go out?'. They destroy the idea that the past was ever better than the present. Expect Depeche Mode reading pages from 'Last Exit to Brooklyn', think Pet Shop Boys working in a real pet shop. Victor Serge take electronic music on a diversion, in their horrible car: they get lost so you can be found. Nothing boring, nothing obvious, all welcome. S. Fearon: An experimental musician with no set genre, straddling between industrial, EBM, black metal, avant-garde and folk. They’ve operated as a musician and sound engineer since 2004, and in that time have been part of outfits including Foxen Cyn, Queen Maud, Bye Louis and J0wday. Their solo material is a culmination of everything that has come before, and will be a project that continues for the rest of their life. Elijah Right?: Grinds together neo-dance music genres into a vibrant, tongue-in-cheek tapestry. Expect the unexpected
