A few more photos from just prior to US Customs and Border Protection Commander Gregory Bovino's exit from the Dirksen Federal Building in Chicago, IL, on October 28th. CBP officers appeared prepared to deploy tear gas if needed, following their commander's hearing about excessive use of tear gas against protesters. A few of them had body camera, in addition to the GoPro and interchangeable lens camera seen in the first photo. Chicago Police officers maintained crowd control until the convoy's departure.

US Customs and Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino leaving from the Dirksen Federal Building in Chicago, IL, earlier today after a hearing with US District Court Judge Sara Ellis. The hearing included discussion of excessive use of tear gas against protesters. A video allegedly shows Bovino throwing a tear gas cannister. He declined to discuss any specific events. He admitted that he was not in compliance with judge Ellis’ prior instruction for all immigration agents to wear body cameras. The Judge ordered him to begin reporting to the court daily and to begin using a body camera by Friday.
