Although my time at @PrepHoopsNext has come to an end, my friend and colleague Houston Wilson (@houston_wilson1 ) has taken the reins as their new director and is off to a great start. It seemed like a logical fit to have him as my first guest on the podcast.

J.D. Palm is rapidly emerging as one of the premier post players from the Southeast region in the Class of 2025 based on his intriguing versatility and vast overall potential. The Alabama resident brings athleticism and size to the court and has shown comfort operating from the high post as well as the low block. Only an eighth-grader, the springy, 6-foot-9, southpaw forward has exhibited touch with his jumper, and defensive instincts around the rim.
