Man I work with some incredible musicians. Here’s a snippet of a fun one we like to call the Funk Jam with a little freestyle vocal action from our boy Everett. I think we played this 100 times that day, because I wanted the perfect take… but sometimes spontaneous is better than perfect. Play till the end for some epic vocal runs

First Marathon in the books. Shout out @opa_gigi6 and @michael.daniels.33821189 for showing up for me and always cheering me on! It was a successful run but not without its challenges:
Woke up with a sore throat. Got dropped off at the wrong starting line (half marathon start). Somehow found a shuttle to take me 4 miles down the road to the actual starting line. Sometimes ya just get lucky.
I ran the race but hit the wall around mile 24. Cramped up so bad that I could barely walk. Much to my good fortune, there was a spectator handing out bananas. Timing couldn’t have been better. Shout out to that random stranger who gave me the power to finish strong.
Contrary to popular advice, I did not put band aids on my nipples. Turns out they ended up alright. Chafing was minimal and with all things considered, I felt pretty good at the end of the race. Oh yea, and I qualified for Boston 2k27 💪🏼. We’ll see if I want to do it lol…..
