Finally got to sit down with the incredibly talented Kaylee Ameri @kayleeameri 🌠. With new music on the horizon, we talked about navigating life as an artist. She shared how the first time she recorded a track she made everyone leave the studio, and how she has since grown out of that shyness and is ready to tour. We also talked about the impact of the internet, especially platforms like TikTok, and how they can shape a career in real time. Her sound is rooted in 90s and early 2000s R&B, and she is drawn to the sense of yearning that defined that era. We also spoke about the importance of having the right team and how much of a difference that support makes. She will for sure be one of the biggest artist out of New Jersey!
