🚨 RELEASE DAY 🚨
I’ve been a fan of Spektre for a long time and always wanted to make a track with them.
They are well known and respected within the techno scene, but they both come from a trance background. We set up a WhatsApp group in advance of working on the track, and we were sending tracks that inspired us, lesser known tunes, not the obvious ones that have been remixed and played to death. We decided to make something that was inspired by the past, but made in the present with modern production techniques.
I travelled over to the lads studio in July 2023 where we spent a day a day working on the track. I brought over a melody that I thought could fit into the idea that we had and after some tweaks it became the main riff that you hear in the final track.
We referenced a lot of different tracks, both old and new, and this was the final result. A techno trance hybrid with plenty of twists and turns.
I’ve played this in almost every set since it was made last summer and it’s finally out today on A State of Trance.
It was a pleasure working with the lads on this project and hopefully we can do it again in the future 👀

My next release is coming on the 10th of May on A State of Trance, and it’s a collaboration with UK techno duo @spektrelive 👊🏻
The track is called “Remember The Future”, it’s a techno-trance crossover, inspired by the music that defined our days as clubbers in the early 2000’s, but produced with a fresh & modern twist.
I’ve been playing this one out in my sets since last August and I debuted the track during my Open To Close set at Custom House Square in Belfast.
