The Steeze Town Mercantile returns to @building.man.festival for its third year in a row. The same duo that brought you CatDog, the Peacock Lounge and @_house_of_fashion_slc_ are at it it again with their legendary Steezeria! This year we are packed with sustainable wearable art by @pink.flamingo.mercantile & @sweetoliveshop ! The clothing boutique is geared towards festival goers with custom, upcycled, handpicked and vintage items. These high fashion ranch dressings can only be found in the newly gentrified down town at the skank star ranch on Friday and Saturday in the mercantile across from the main stage. Cash is preferred as service can be spotty, but online payments accepted as well. ~Heya all you StEeZy KaTs!~ Thought it was time to do a proper introduction now that I’ve made it to over 1500 followers! But first, THANK YOU all who have followed my journey and have supported me either through buying some steeze or just liking my posts! My name is Hannah and Ive been based out of SLC for the past 6.5 years. Born in NOLA w a touch of the steeze, raised in tiny town Alabama. I remember playing dress up in my mom’s scarves as a kid and it was such a euphoric experience. Always been more keen to the arts I eventually found my way to the University of Montevallo and majored in studio arts focusing on photography and painting. I took a clothing as art class from the iconic @graffeokc and it shifted everything for me! Realizing I can create wearable art out of my old clothes and thrifted treasures barely having to spend any money was revolutionary. I had friends that suggested I should focus on upcycled jackets after creating my own, by basically gluing fabric and objects to a thrift find(3rd slide^) So I did. I hand sewed my first handful of upcycled steeze which you can imagine took ages! But I was hooked. I eventually found my way out to slc after graduating, chasing my childhood dream of being a ski bum bc I fell in love with snowboarding as a kid. Didnt quite fall into ski bum life bc my true calling became all things steeze. What is steeze you ask -style with ease... Thanks London for introducing this word to me! Bc it stuck. I started to make friends with the underground burner scene and I upcycled a jacket for a friend. He wore it out to a party and it networked my way into being apart of a local fashion show created by @lunal0vechild . This is when I started to blast into the stratosphere! I had a month to create a logo and a instagram page and learn how to actually use a sewing machine! Shout out to @peter.pan.arts and @the_stephanie_lee for showing me the ropes! Also shout out to @vinyltapestries for helping me with my first fashion show! Life changer! Since that moment I’ve been vending at local markets,events, fests and created Steeze Town w @pink.flamingo.mercantile at the one and only @building.man.festival ! Cont in comments!

Building Wo-Man is one month away! Check out this short video to figure out why you should come. Two great inventions were presented to the world last year @building.man.festival 1. The Slime Time Live fandom bike, aka the Hennessey Rider- inspired by Nickelodeon, Kid Cuisine and CatDog. After facing many obstacles in transportation for CatDog the slime time live bike was born. We noticed the lack of user friendly bikes on the market and failed at building an art car accessible for CatDogs so we had to take matters into our own hands. We also both missed the nights spent in front of the TV watching Hey Arnold in our Rugrats pajammies so we created a bike which honors our heritage that any degenerate in their mid 30s would appreciate. Since CatDog is new at riding and childish we hooked it up to a trainer and road up top the Hennesseys to none other than @the_dirtnap 2. KittyPuppy: CatDog made the decision after last @building.man.festival that they were soulmates, bonded for life, and would always stay by each others side @spektacle46 ! In this recognition of their love they decided to have a child. Since there is only one CatDog in the world, CatDog had to reproduce with Itself which worked out because CatDog is so attractive. What this means is KittyPuppy is the result of Incest and inbreeding so they have serious genetic defects but this had to happen to prevent CatDog extinction. CatDog went into labor on stage at building man during the DirtNap set because the Hennessey vibrations were so intense it triggered an early labor, @unifymtnsoundz ! We also firmly believe KittyPuppy wanted to see the show and perform with us. Onlookers thought this birth was a miracle sent from the Nickelodeon’s above but they were off put by the slime time live that was sprayed into their faces as CatDogs water broke. KittyPuppy is a two headed VanTHRILLaquist Doll equipped with a nitrous valve for only the most talented PUPPYteers. After creating KittyPuppy I have one main takeaway, “if you want clothes, South Town Mall, if you want Toys R Us, hit me up”.

Happy New Year ya STEeZy KaTs! What a whirlwind of a year it’s been! From the lowest of lows to the highest of highs, I’m forever grateful for this life rollercoaster and the endless possibilities and creative outlets it brings me! This piece was created for the @oddstar_house_of_fashion show. I love how the unique creative process unfolds with each piece I create! It’s usually starts with a broad idea and the more I cut up fabric the more the idea comes to life! This one began as a blue Jean jacket. She really started talking when @kat.spath dropped off @alliewicksrides old horse riding pant legs. And Viola! They now function as sleeves! It’s a trip to see the transformation of forgotten fabrics and clothes turn into masterpieces! This is the first thing I’ve created that actually brought me to tears.
