@rettejones30 Mustang, using Frog Tape and duct tape instead of vastly easier to apply paint. After all, the green color is absolutely spot on, and the neighborhood teens that are coming with us to this event could help me apply it. So, we just spent four long days doing what could have been done better and infinitely more easily in one..No one said I was smart.

@FullmoonGraphics are recreating the Mr. Sam cutout for the hood and the spray wax bottles for the sides this morning for us to complete the look. We all love Sam---he's America's Grandpa! I'm honored to know him personally and call him a friend, and I always look forward to visiting with him at the events. I was tickled to see Cleet's 'Dega NASCAR livery and thrilling performance last weekend, and I wanted a standout ride for this all Grand Prix race anyway, so why not a tribute? It's not easy to make an old Pontiac look like a new Ford with only cheap tape, but we did our best, and it now bears a passing resemblance The stock supercharged 3800 V6 runs well enough at 185k.
In the #PTBruiser race at Indy last year, I went FULL SEND and inadvertently cartwheeled the car, taking out the infield tunnel fence. While I'm always gonna send it and put on a show, I don't want to destroy any more of IRP or myself, so let's hope the brakes don't quit and the throttle doesn't stick open after the jump like last time! Another Best In Show is the goal, but a second Van Prix class race win would be nice too. There will be at least one 5.3L LS4 V8 Grand Prix GXP there, and a bunch more supercharged versions.
