AJ Foyt Racing driver Caio Collet and Jack Harvey of Dreyer & Reinbold Racing have been disqualified from qualifying for the Indianapolis 500.
Technical inspections of the cars confirmed irregularities in relation to the regulations.
Officials discovered modifications were made to the Dallara-supplied energy management system covers and cover-to-A-arm mounting points with unapproved hardware.
Per the IndyCar rule book, Dallara-supplied control components must not be modified.
IndyCar Series rookie Collet qualified 10th and made it into the Top 12. Harvey, meanwhile, was 29th.
Collet and Harvey have been sent to the back of the grid in 32nd and 33rd respectively.

Chip Ganassi Racingās Alex Palou has secured pole position for the 110th Running of the Indianapolis 500.
The Spaniard surprised even himself after only qualifying 11th in the 33-car all-in session.
That paved the way for Palouās pole run, setting the second-fastest four-lap average in the Top 12 behind Meyer Shank Racingās Felix Rosenqvist.
Palou ended the Fast Six with a 232.248 mph to his name while Rosenqvist couldnāt convert his blistering speed in the two previous segments to end up fourth fastest.

Max Verstappenās hopes of winning the Nurburgring 24 on debut look to have been dashed with just over three hours remaining in the race.
Verstappenās co-driver Daniel Juncadella was at the helm of the No.3 Mercedes-AMG Team Verstappen Racing Mercedes-AMG when he began to slow.
Soon enough, his lead of near on 30 seconds vanished. With three hours and 27 minutes remaining, Maro Engel in the No.80 Mercedes-AMG Team Ravenol Mercedes-AMG GT3 overtook Juncadella.
Juncadella brought the car into the pit lane for an unscheduled pit stop at which point it was wheeled into the garage.
Crew members of the Winward Racing-run entry began looking under the right rear wheel arch where damage to the driveshaft was discovered.

Inclement weather forced the postponement of qualifying for the 110th Running of the Indianapolis 500.
The first day of qualifying was scheduled for Sunday (AEST) but has been postponed entirely to Monday with a raft of changes.
Due to time constraints, officials have elected to rejig the format.
Beginning at 2:00am AEST, all 33 qualifiers will line up based on Saturdayās qualifying draw and have one attempt at setting a traditional four-lap average speed.
The knockout rounds have been tweaked. Gone is Top 15 Qualifying, and instead the initial qualifying runs will determine 13th to 33rd.
The fastest 12 qualifiers will then go through to Top 12 Qualifying, which is scheduled for 6:30am AEST.
The Top 12 will be run in reverse order, with the 12th fastest cars to run first followed by the 11th fastest car and so on. Each car will have one attempt at a four-lap average speed.
The cars that finished seventh through 12th will lock in their starting spots while the fastest six cars advance to the Fast Six.

Jack Millerās future in MotoGP beyond this year hangs in the balance amid reports he will be replaced at Yamaha satellite squad Pramac.
Moto2 star Ivan Guevara is reportedly weeks away from signing a deal to ride in MotoGP.
He rides for Pramac in Moto2 and in his fourth season of the feeder series is contending for the title, sitting second in the ridersā championship.
The Spaniard impressed at the latest round in France, beating Intact GP rider Manuel Gonzalez to the win.
According to Motorsport.com, Guevara is poised to be promoted to the MotoGP team alongside Toprak Tazgatlioglu in 2027 with a deal expected before the summer break.
Guevara has already tested with Pramac. Off the back of winning last yearās Moto2 season finale at Valencia, the 22-year-old rode a Yamaha YZR-M1 at the same circuit just days after.

Supercars has locked in another suite of parity changes for the Chevrolet Camaros ahead of the Tasmania Super440.
The category tweaked the Camaroās aerodynamic package ahead of Christchurch in a bid to shift its aerodynamic balance rearward.
Supercars and Team 18 recently undertook a follow-up track test at Queensland Raceway as part of further investigations into the Camaro.
The categoryās motorsport boss Tim Edwards sent a note to the Commission today confirming the revisions ahead of Symmons Plains.
The front splitter will be moved forward to its original pre-Christchurch position, a small packer installed along the wheel band of the front facia and the rear wing angle increased by 0.4 degree.

Lamborghini has officially unveiled its new Temerario Super Trofeo for its three-pronged one-make category.
The Temerario Super Trofeo will be used in 2027 across North America, Asia and Europe.
First unveiled at last yearās Lamborghini World Finals, the launch at Lamborghini Arena offered a glimpse of the car in its final specification.
The Temerario Super Trofeo builds on the success of the Huracan Super Trofeo, which has been used since 2015.
The Huracan underwent updates in 2019 and 2022, giving it a shelf life of more than a decade.
The new offering from Lamborghini will cost $485,000 AUD, excluding GST for the Asia-Pacific region.
The Temerario Super Trofeo is powered by a twin-turbocharged V8 engine capable of delivering 620hp at 7000rpm and 650Nm of torque.
Unlike the road-going version, the Super Trofeo is rear-wheel drive as opposed to all-wheel drive.

Supercars star injured šµ
Grove Racing has no doubt Matt Payne will be fit to race in Tasmania next weekend, despite a recent mountain bike accident.
The team has confirmed to Speedcafe that Payne suffered a wrist injury while training in Victoria just over a week ago.
Payne has since been undergoing rehabilitation on the wrist ahead of the resumption of the championship at Symmons Plains on May 22-24.
āMatt fell off his pushbike in a training accident and hurt his wrist bracing himself,ā Grove CEO Brenton Grove confirmed to Speedcafe.
āThereās no worry that he wonāt be right for Tassie. Heās going through his own personal rehab and training."
