The year is 1597; a woman, accused of being a witch, can save herself by condemning others. A community is crumbling. A man plays god with a lie. A woman fights back with the truth.
In a time when gossip can kill, whispers become poisonous and speculation becomes a sentence.â¨â¨Well-respected widow Marion Walker, horrified at what is happening to her town, decides to expose the truth about the witchfinder John Cowper and his newest âweaponâ: a self-proclaimed witch. Margaret Aitken, under the threat of death, claimed she could identify a witch by a mark on their eyesâŚso is transformed into the worldâs first female witch-hunter.â¨â¨The fate of the town lies in the balance, but who will get the final wordâŚthe witch or the whistleblower?

TRAVELLING JACK đŤđ | December â25 has *bean* a pretty busy one, travelling the country performing Jack and the Beanstalk. Found out where the best Travelodges are, saw some pretty spectacular sunrises (and a couple of rainbows), and even managed to squeeze in a trip to Brum in the middle of all the fun! Thanks to the wonderful @shannoncrothwell and the team @stage_ed for a fabulous experience; Iâm really proud of the work we did on this panto. Now, time to consume my own bodyweight in mince pies⌠And sleep!
A (short) play wot I wrote is getting performed 23rd January @deptfordlounge at 7pm (Pay-What-You-Decide, amazing value!)
I shall be performing in the piece as well, alongside the excellent speed_sam and the whole thing is being beautifully orchestrated by the marvellous jessica_fowler_actor and courtesy of @thealbanyse8
What happens when a joke goes wrong? Do we mean everything we say, or is it just for a laugh? And can we ever undo the offence we might cause? Find out this January, at the Deptford Lounge!

Hobson's Choice by Harold Brighouse:
I had the best time playing Willie Mossop with a wonderful, friendly, charismatic, funny company. Such a joy of a play, and a brilliantly informative and creative process bringing it to life. Massive thank you to all involved.

Finally got round to picking my favourite shots from the incredible #TheClockmakersDaughter. This was an absolute privilege to work on. A beautiful story told with tenderness and diligence by a dream ensemble. This score will occupy my dreams forever. Thanks to this brilliant cast and creative team for making the first of our productions such a joy!

What is there to say? Iâve learnt ever so much from playing John and from this juggernaut of a text. Thereâs real evil at large in the world; itâs pervasive and inescapable so this story feels very important at the moment. I am very proud of the sensitive, passionate way in which this group of actors worked together to present it, and Iâll carry the lessons learned with me for a long time. Thank you all. âBelieve in God, believe in each other, in progress or science or whatever but by believing in the impossible you might just make it happen. All thatâs needed, in the end, is belief.â
