International Women’s Day Spotlight: Margot F. Dallinga
This International Women’s Day, we’re proud to recognize Margot, Senior Acoustical Consultant at Spectrum Engineers.
Born in Brazil to immigrant parents, Margot grew up surrounded by music, art, books, math, and science. While studying Civil Engineering, she discovered acoustics—what she describes as “the language I had been listening for all along.”
For more than two decades, Margot has helped shape spaces where sound supports comfort, clarity, and connection, collaborating with design teams to ensure the environments we create not only look good—but sound right too.
Today, we celebrate Margot and the many women helping shape the future of the built environment.

🌎 World Energy Efficiency Day
The new Herriman Campus brings sustainable design to a growing community.
Designed to LEED Silver standards, the Juniper Building and central plant serve thousands of students while prioritizing energy performance — including a 30kW rooftop photovoltaic system and centralized plant infrastructure to optimize efficiency across campus.
Spectrum Engineers provided electrical engineering and structured cabling master planning and design services, supporting a campus built for connection, accessibility, and long-term sustainability.
