Well you guys said you wanted to see them "devastated but not dead" so here's one of the saddest scenes in the book. 😭 Sadness aside, how gorgeous is this piece from @spearthymint ? The thing I Iove the most about this scene is Erik's face. You can tell he's pissed but is also trying not to cry himself. Poor guy. I also really love the rendering in Isabel's skirt. What do you guys love about this one??? @nestaweek Day Three — True North Nesta Archeron. Lady Nesta. Kingslayer. Lady Death. Queen of Queens. Witch from Oorid. Death God. Valkyrie. Oristian. Out of all of the titles that Nesta has accumulated/accomplished, the one that I am most eager to add is High Lady of the Dusk Court. From the eight-pointed star being tattooed on her back, to the Dread Trove answering to her, to being handed Gwydion by Bryce with clear instruction to find out why Nes had the eight-pointed star, the compass has seemingly pointed in this direction. Will Nesta be granted the title by the land itself, will the Mother bless her, or will she simply take the title by default? I very much anticipate the next book in the series touching on this as an extension of both ACOSF and HOFAS. As if content to lounge on his shoulders and watch.“ — A Court of Silver Flames, Azriel’s Bonus Chapter Gwyn allows Azriel a sense of calm comfortability, settling that restless sort of stress deep within him. I find it awfully poetic that Azriel says that his people were born hearing the song of the wind, and the person that has been able to soothe him the most is associated with music. For this piece, @thefoxthefawn and I imagined Gwyn lulling Azriel into a peaceful rest with her voice—a place of quiet content within her embrace.
