i was invited to go to the Van Gogh exhibit yesterday with my friend jake and it was such a special day for me 💝 march 30th is #worldbipolarday and most of you have been following me long enough to know about my battle with mental health. i find it kind of poetic that we unintentionally went to the exhibit on Van Gogh’s birthday, an artist who also suffered from bipolar disorder. yesterday also marked my one year anniversary of quitting my 9-5 job to pursue my passion full time- @speakingofwitchshop and I packed the largest mirror I’ve ever shipped to date (it’s literally taller than I am 😅) and i also miraculously got to see my bb cam who i haven’t seen since I moved back to Memphis from Nashville 9 years ago 💓
it’s been a wild year full of highs and definitely a lot of lows. i guess i just wanna say thank you to my friends who have stuck it out with me through the hardest year of my life. you guys know who you are. i honestly would not still be here without you. and to everyone who has supported my shop- friends, family, strangers- i couldn’t do it without you guys either. i love you all and im just so grateful for everything. days like yesterday remind me why i still want to be alive and that there’s still so much love for me to experience on this earth
