I remember so clearly when I got my first pair of basketball shoes at 12 years old. I was completely mesmerized by how someone could possibly blend performance with story telling so beautifully. From that point on, I knew I wanted to design sneakers one day and was on a quest to create that same feeling for someone else
As I set foot into college to begin my design journey, I was filled with determination to learn footwear design. My college experience quickly made me realize that this would be a long and uncertain path. I questioned myself countless times “Should I really be doing this whole shoe design thing?”. Yet I kept following this passion for years with no idea if anything would ever come of it
