Double🌙half moon🌙… Focus on this new piece that has arrived in my collection… A 1930/40s Mohawk(from Duxbak)canvas hunting jacket with a black⚫️label and double half-moon🌙pocket. This piece is very rare and sought-after,featuring a double half-moon pocket that ends in the meat pocket on the back where hunters stored small game🐤🐦‍⬛🐦… The black label appears to be a rarer label,and there are also two stitched WL initials, which are thought to be those of the person who wore that jacket back then…. Easter Monday camoflage🌿… I want to focus on this beautiful and rare Jacket🤩that I bought last summer☀️from my friends at @horse_unit ,during my vintage tour of BKK... it is a jacket belonging to the Indian🇮🇳paratrooper regiment of the 40s, which were an English colony at that time... In fact the jacket is to be considered a rare sister of the English”Denison”🇬🇧paratrooper jacket from which it takes its shape and above all the four large pockets on the front,it differs from the English one however for the presence of of a zip,which makes it much more practical to wear unlike the English one which in the 40s was an anorok(after the WW2, also the English adopted the zip)… Even the colours are different from the classic Denison ones,taking up the colours of the Indian vegetation which are warmer than the English one, making the patina of time beautiful… In the last photos I’ll give you a detailed description of the jacket which is in a Italian🇮🇹book of vintage military uniforms that my friend Maurizio from @antiquesclothes sent me, with whom I had conversations before purchasing this beautiful 🤩 jacket… 📸 @nati_1990_ #vintageclothing#vintagecamo#militarystyle#naturephotography#outfitinspiration

This MA1 is not the common model, but it is the first pattern initially created at first of 50s for the Korean War and then for the first Vietnam,it is very difficult to find in normal sizes,in mine we don’t even talk about it 😅… Moreover this has some beautiful patches,from which I was able to trace part of the history of this garment and of who wore it... the patch on the chest is that of the 75th USAF🛩️ squadron of the “Tiger Sharks”, which had support tasks in the close warfare to the special forces,plus the”woodoo scoop wizard” patch says that the owner the official Watson,in addition to being a pilot,had a qualification as an expert technician in USAF radar...
