The Spatial Media Lab e.V. have created a new Reaper Template which will convert an Ambisonic recording into Dolby Atmos for free! The template allows you to compose in ambisonics using any ambisonic plugins or your choice, and once you have rendered your ambisonic mix, you simply drag it into the template and it will be routed into the Fiedler Dolby Atmos Composer Essential, a free plugin suite for authoring Dolby Atmos ADM files for publishing on Apple Music. 🔥 DOWNLOAD NOW! 🔗 You can find the download option and more info on our website. Moments from From All Sides: Spatial Sound Forum 2026 — a collaboration with @Catalyst.berlin shaped by shared listening, immersive audio and spatial media experiences. Set within the remarkable Saal 4 at @funkhaus.berlin , we had the chance to create a site-specific hybrid spatial audio system, where we conducted a workshop exploring different spatial approaches and listening perspectives, and hosted 16 intricate Live & Fixed Media performances. Basel (@baselnaouri ) and Andrew (@immersedinsound ) also joined the panel Beyond Immersion: Spatial Sound as Practice, bringing the conversation back to spatial sound as something shaped through artistic decisions as much as technical ones. It was a pleasure to collaborate and to be part of a context that brings people together around spatial sound and listening in such an open and thoughtful way. We aim to continue shaping experiences like this to grow and strengthen the community.
