ilé dùn means sweet home ~ home is sweet in Yoruba and encompasses how i think our living spaces should feel. our living spaces are sacred. we spend most of our time there and even if your lifestyle makes this an inaccurate statement, at some point you still come back home. and home should be be serene, sightly, safe and sweet. full note on substack.

This is to consistently being inconsistent. There’s something about the industrial, raw and unfinished that has always spoke to me & I guess that’s what this shoot was all about. I’ve never really chased perfection; but instead sought the honesty of making things work with what’s in my hands. I’ve always seen my craft as almost living within the grit, believing that beauty isn’t polished but built. My philosophy has always been simple: hands are made for working, and through that work something honest and unexpected takes form

Mob Ties. ___ Picked up a camera three years ago just messing around, not thinking it’d turn into a real thing - now it’s how I process the world. This shoot explores the parallels between mob ties and deep-rooted friendships - both built on loyalty, code, and a bond that’s hard to break. The concept was about how those relationships, though born in different worlds, share a kind of silent understanding and unshakable trust. It’s a theme that came through strongly in the outfits - sharp, unified, and deliberate, almost like a uniform. The looks weren’t just about style; they were about allegiance, power, and identity. _____ huge s/o to @chantal.cn for helping me pull this off. 🪂
