We’re excited to start the year off with this win! 🌟Thanks for loving our Rock Mat as much as we do. If you want to reconnect with your feet then this is the easiest thing you can add to your day. Add it to your kitchen, standing desk, bathroom, or bring it to the gym to level up your balance training. The sensory receptors in the sole of the foot fires messages to your brain to keep the body stable and upright because the mounds on the rock mat challenges the foot’s stability. There are thousands of sensory receptors in each foot and if you don’t use them, you lose them. They are responsible for the feet’s ability to respond and adapt to unexpected changes or new challenges. Here’s a study on the positive changes walking on cobblestones can do for an older person: šŸ“š /publication/265271342_Health_Benefits_of_Cobblestone-Mat_Walking_Preliminary_Findings Don’t wait until you have to restore your foot health. Start now and continue to strengthen your foundation from the ground up 🦶 Other benefits of different foot exposure/walking and standing on our rock mat: āž”ļørelieves tension āž”ļøstimulates thousands of nerve endings āž”ļøtrains proprioception āž”ļøimproves circulation āž”ļøpromotes relaxation (exposing your feet to different pressures will probably be uncomfortable at first, but it’ll get easier!) āž”ļøreduces pain āž”ļøimproves overall health and sleep šŸ›’ link in bio for our Rock Mat, Rock Mat XL or Ultimate Recovery Kit Big thanks to @statmediapr šŸ™šŸ½ #accupressurepoints #reflexology #rockmat #barefoottraining #stabilitytraining #balance

Hey guys! Thanks so much for being part of our community and strengthening your foundation from the ground up. This year we’re going to be releasing new tools, an app, upgrades to our current line up, and some pretty kick ass events and campaigns with our incredible team of athletes. We’ve also changed our name to Spacer Mobility to encompass all of ours tools instead of just highlighting our corner stone product the toe spacers. We can’t wait to continue seeing you all using our tools to give your body the SPACE it needs to recover and improve mobility. Let’s keep making feet a priority and showcasing how much they can support upward joints and remove the stigma that feet are gross #barefoottraining #mobility #mobilitytraining #anklerehab #footpain #football #crossfit #basketball #marathon #runrunrun

You were born with toes that can splay and move independently, however years of wearing constrictive footwear affect the muscles in the feet and can make them weak. Feet are often ignored, so you may not even realize that there’s a lack of foot mobility or brain to foot connection. Movements like toe yoga or big toe lifts help strengthen the brain foot connection. Splaying your toes allows you to have better stability, intrinsic foot muscle strength, and arch support. If you want to strengthen your feet, start by making these changes šŸ‘‡ *ļøāƒ£Wear toe spacers to realign the foot to its natural shape and relieve any strain *ļøāƒ£change your shoes to a wide toe box shoe that promotes natural foot movements *ļøāƒ£spend more time barefoot *ļøāƒ£do foot/toe strengthening exercises and stretches *ļøāƒ£massage (roll out your feet and or use your hands to self massage) #barefoottraining #footmobility #mobility #mobilitytraining #stabilitytraining #footpain #splay #toeyoga

How many of these can you actually do?
This isn’t about flexibility, it’s about control, stability, and how well your feet, ankles and hips actually function.
Your feet are your foundation. If they don’t move well, neither does the rest of your body. There were 14 moves in total. Drop your score šŸ‘‡ #mobilitytraining #barefoottraining

Orthotics aren’t always the problem, but the idea that every foot needs more support probably is. A lot of people are prescribed orthotics without ever being asked bigger questions like: 1ļøāƒ£Can this foot become stronger? 2ļøāƒ£Can function improve? 3ļøāƒ£Why is the foot struggling with load in the first place? 4ļøāƒ£Is this support temporary or permanent? 4ļøāƒ£What role is footwear playing? Yes, orthotics can help in certain situations, especially when someone is dealing with specific structural limitations and when prescribed correctly. But support is not the same thing as restoring function. The concern is when support becomes the entire strategy. Because over time, if the foot is constantly relying on external support, it may do less of the work itself. Read the entire post for more questions to ask if you’ve been told to get orthotics! Save the questions page and send to someone you know who’s been wearing orthotics foreveerrrrrr #footpain #orthotics #flatfeet

As requested - bulletproof ankles. Strong ankles are not built by stretching only. You need to move them, load them, rotate them, strengthen them and teach them how to control your body through different positions. Static mobility helps you open the range. Dynamic movement helps you own it. Strength work helps you keep it. Balance and reaction work help you use it in real sport. Your ankles don’t just need more flexibility. They need control, stability, strength, blood flow and freedom to move. That’s also why I train in anatomical toe socks most of the time. Regular socks can squeeze your toes together and limit how your foot naturally works. With @spacermobility socks, my toes can spread, my foot can feel the floor better, and the grip surface helps them stay in place while I move. For mobility, balance, footwork and reaction training - this setup feels way more natural to me. Start simple. Move with control. Build it slowly. Use code BOGDAN10 for 10% off. @spacermobility @thetoespacer #spacermobility #thetoespacer #toespacers #foothealth #barefoottraining

5 ways to rebuild your big toe You can do this at home or while your kids play at the park šŸ¦¶šŸ½šŸ«¶šŸ¼ Most people never think about training their big toe… until their feet start getting stiff, weak, or uncomfortable. But your big toe plays a huge role in: * balance * push-off * arch function * walking + running mechanics …and so much more! These are 5 simple ways I work on keeping mine mobile and strong. Affiliate link for toe spacers is in my bio if you’re curious šŸ«¶šŸ¼ Which step feels hardest? šŸ‘‡šŸ½ #spacermobility #footstrength #bigtoe #movebetter #foothealth
