We are delighted to share a selection from the exhibition documentation by @yegyu_shin with you. To visit the exhibition see opening hours 👇🏽 NPCOMPANION Artists: Julie Bender Herdina, Yuchu Gao, Hannah Hyun Jeong, Tom Messavilla, Boris Saccone, Yegyu Shin, Jiwon Song, Jimmy Vuong Curated by Tinatin Ghughunishvili-Brück Venue: Halle 6, Dachauer Str. 112 D, Munich Exhibition Duration: 9–15 May 2026 Opening Hours: Saturday, 9 May & Sunday, 10 May 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM Monday, 11 May – Thursday, 14 May 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM Friday, 15 May 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Finissage) The exhibition NPCOMPANION brings together eight artistic practices that examine the hypothetical and symbolic presence of beings, companions, and objects from another sphere—a world that seems to exist beyond the artists’ conscious intent. The participating artists present beings on canvas, as objects and in drawings that elude traditional notions of control, narrative and representation. Instead, images emerge in which figures appear as autonomous participants—like so-called non-playable characters (NPCs) in digital games: uncontrollable, independent and full of a sense of their own self-existence. Please feel free to reach out for personal appointments. The exhibition is supported by the Akademieverein München. @akademieverein

bichos escrotos 1 painted my dream wall last week in santa teresa, facing the ocean, next to one of my favourite places to be, heading to an important art collection and neighbour to my favourite street artists from Rio. Very sad that in Germany you can’t just go and paint walls randomly and people will love it.

when I took this foto last week I was thinking about identity and the strange feeling of living in coloniser countries. With the imprisonment of Jair Bolsonaro this week it’s meaning changed completely for me, since the brasilian flag was heavily appropriated by him and his followers since his first campaign. So now I’m gonna use this image as a commemoration of the imprisonment of a dangerous man that was responsible for the death of so many brasilians and had strong intentions of bringing back military dictatorship to Brasil. I don’t really believe in the jail system but in this case I will honestly say I Hope he rots in jail #bolsonaronacadeia
