Once the competition ends, a whole new discipline begins – celebrating at Olympic level! As soon as the last racer crosses the finish line and the adrenaline settles, the day smoothly shifts into night mode: time to dance, toast, and let loose.
At 9:00 PM, the doors open for the official victory party. For those still navigating in race mode: SCHWANSEESTRASSE 90 – just follow the route, arrive, and dive in. You will find the lineup here, get excited for an epic locations and many artists!
Tickets are available from April 27th to April 30th at @KONTORSTIFT in M18. Check online for opening hours – and don’t wait too long! A small number of remaining tickets will also be available on race day.
So: leave the competition behind, grab your crew, and jump into the night – see you on the dancefloor!

Am Wochenende vor den Spielen, am 25. & 26. April von 10–18 Uhr, öffnen wir das olympische Trainingslager im Innenhof der Produktdesignstudis hinter dem Van-de-Velde-Bau (Geschwister-Scholl-Straße 7). Dort wirst du feierlich in die hohe Kunst des Seifenkisten-Sports eingeweiht.
Ob Rookie mit Pappkarton-Ambitionen oder ambitionierte Schrauberin mit Podiumsdrang: Der Workshop richtet sich an alle Teams, die keine eigene Werkstatt haben – aber trotzdem um Ruhm, Ehre und vielleicht sogar Gold mitfahren wollen. Werkzeuge, Materialien und gute Vibes sind am Start – aber je mehr du selbst mitbringst (Material, Ideen, Teamgeist), desto legendärer wird dein Gefährt!
Also: Komm vorbei, trainiere wie ein Champion und bau dir deine Chance auf olympischen Ruhm! Also pack ein, was nicht niet- und nagelfest ist, und bau mit uns Kisten, die Geschichte schreiben könnten!

On the weekend before the games, April 25th & 26th from 10am–6pm, we open our Olympic training camp in the courtyard of the product designers behind the Van-de-Velde building (Geschwister-Scholl-Straße 7). There, you’ll be initiated into the fine art of soapbox racing.
Whether you're a rookie with cardboard dreams or an ambitious builder aiming for the podium: this workshop is for all teams without their own garage – but with the drive to compete for glory, honor, and maybe even gold. Tools, materials, and good vibes are provided – but the more you bring yourself (materials, ideas, team spirit), the more legendary your ride will become!
So: show up, train like a champion, and build your ride for Olympic glory!

For many years, daring teams have been tinkering, tinkering, and training on their homemade contraptions to race down Windmühlenstraße – armed with nothing but duct tape, sweat, and Olympic ambition. And this year, it's all about competition: speed, style, and the unwavering will to win.
Whether your ride takes home the gold or gracefully cruises across the finish line will be decided by the legendary TÜV team – equipped with a tape measure, a discerning eye, and a dash of Olympic justice.

Die legendäre Jubelfeier steigt um 21:30 Uhr – diesmal im Mascha. Falls dein Bordcomputer versagt: Schützengasse 2, einfach eingeben, landen, feiern. Wie immer erwarten euch feurige DJs, wilde Artists und ein Line-up, das irgendwo zwischen kosmischem Funk, tanzbarem Wahnsinn und spacigem Bass oszilliert.

The legendary celebration kicks off at 9 :30PM – this time at Mascha. If your onboard computer fails: Schützengasse 2, just type it in, land, and party. As always, fiery DJs, wild artists, and a lineup oscillating somewhere between cosmic funk, danceable madness, and spacey bass await you.

Der Countdown läuft, die Seifenkisten stehen in den Startlöchern – und die Windmühlenstraße wird wieder zur heißen Rennpiste! Damit das große Spektakel am 1. Mai pünktlich um 13 Uhr starten kann, findet die Anmeldung am Renntag zwischen 10 und 12 Uhr statt. Früh erscheinen lohnt sich – denn nur wer zugelassen wird, darf seine Kiste gen Tal schicken.
In zwei Durchgängen kämpfen die wackere*n Pilot*innen dann nicht nur um Bestzeiten, sondern auch um die Gunst der Jury. Denn beim SpaceKidHeadCup zählt nicht allein, wer am schnellsten ins Ziel rast – sondern auch, wer mit Stil, Wahnsinn oder unfassbar kreativer Konstruktion glänzt.
Direkt nach dem letzten Lauf werden die strahlende*n Sieger*innen an der Strecke gekrönt – unter Jubel, Applaus und gelegentlichem Konfettiregen.

The countdown is on, the soapboxes are at the starting line – and Windmühlenstraße is about to turn into a hot racetrack again! To kick off the big event on May 1st at 1 PM, registration will take place on race day between 10 AM and 12 PM. Arriving early is worth it – because only those who are approved will be allowed to send their box down the hill.
In two rounds, the brave pilots will not only compete for the best times, but also for the favor of the jury. Because at the SpaceKidHeadCup, it’s not just about who speeds to the finish line the fastest – it’s also about who shines with style, madness, or incredibly creative construction.
Right after the final run, the shining winners will be crowned at the track – to cheers, applause, and the occasional rain of confetti.
