Bamboogie rings in the Lunar New Year with a fresh session built for the floor — a cosmic drift through Funk, Deep House, Disco and left field grooves that lean warm, percussive and expansive. On deck, two seasoned DJ/Producers return. Juan Mejia @miamidj_juanmejia (Colombia/Miami) is a longtime underground fixture whose sound sits at the intersection of depth and drive. Rooted in Colombia and sharpened in Miami’s House circuit, his sets balance deep low-end with melodic detail. Through his imprint Dutchie Music, he’s fostered an international network of artists and dancers orbiting the deeper end of the spectrum. Cello @spacediscowizard (Italy/Bangkok) channels Italian finesse with the vibrant energy of Bangkok’s underground. Easing through Balearic Disco, textured Deep House and subtly psychedelic rhythms. I really love this machine! The Korg Electribe EMX1 is a powerhouse that I wish I had back when it came out. Still I feel lucky to have found one in great shape a few years ago, and I used it extensively since then! Some of my projects started from there, many other have live recordings coming from this beast. Now, I just wish to add a flaming red ESX next to it. 😁
