Seven Space Apes are joining the London To Brighton Cycle Ride to support the world’s leading medical humanitarian aid organisation!
MSF provides emergency assistance to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics and natural or man-made disasters, without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation, working in over 70 countries and going to the places where others cannot or choose not to go.

Space Ape Summer Fun Day 2024! ☀️
At the beginning of August, we had our 2024 summer fun day! A fun packed day with lots of food, games, good company and several furry friends made an appearance too!

We’re excited to be launching our 2024 Art Internship Programme here at Space Ape Games! 🎨
Following the success of our 2023 programme, our Art Team is ready to welcome another four interns later this year!
We’re looking for the following positions:
2D Artist
3D Artist
UI Designer
Animator
The internships will run for 8 weeks starting from Monday, 16th September.
Abbie and Elizabeth, two of our 2023 interns, will be involved in interviewing and onboarding our 2024 joiners. Here’s what they have to say about their experience with us so far:
Abbie: “My journey of becoming part of the Space Ape team following my UI/UX internship last year has been so fulfilling! I can’t wait to be involved in bringing in our 2024 interns.”
Elizabeth: “My internship opportunity with Space Ape has landed me my first full-time role as a Concept Artist in the games industry! I’m super excited to help us find our 2024 interns who are just starting out in their careers.”

Space Ape Games are happy to be hosting the 2024 Green Game Jam kick-off in collaboration with Playing for the Planet Alliance (P4P)!
With 65 participating games, people from across the globe will gather in-person across five cities as well as online to start thinking about how they can engage their player audiences to take actions that benefit the planet.

Here at Space Ape, we recently ran our first-ever Art Internship programme, bringing on board our three incredible interns, Abbie (UI/UX), Elizabeth (2D) and Tomas (3D).
In their eight weeks with us, they worked with the Chrome Valley Customs team across live features, vehicles and marketing, immersing themselves in our culture and ceremonies.
For us, it was crucial that the interns work on live briefs, fundamental to the game, to give them real-life, hands-on experience that they could take into their future roles.
This internship has been an invaluable experience for the Art team. It has allowed senior artists to step up and pass on their years of industry knowledge and skills, as well as bringing fresh ideas and a new perspective on how we approach different challenges.
It’s been amazing to watch Elizabeth, Abbie and Tomas learn and grow, and we can’t wait to see what they do next. Thanks for joining us on this fantastic journey!
Whilst we’re growing our Vehicle Art Team at Space Ape, we thought it would be the perfect time to introduce you to our newest Vehicle Artist…
Meet Aaron! 👋🏼
Aaron started his career with Space Ape in 2022, he joined our Chrome Valley Customs team as one of our talented 3D Vehicle Artists.
Alongside working as a Welder for close to 10 years, Aaron pursued his passion for drawing and designing cars for many years as a side hobby, which led him to becoming a talented, self-taught, 3D and 2D Vehicle Artist/Designer.
He went on to build a portfolio of his artwork on Instagram, which is where his first-class work caught our eye. This was the start of what led to a dramatic career change for Aaron, as he switched his welding career to join the gaming industry and became part of our Vehicle Art Team at Space Ape. He has been a fundamental part of the team ever since.
“I always dreamed of working in the games industry, doing something adjacent to my passion for cars, design and gaming, but changing from an entirely different career path seemed like an impossibility, like a dream. Little did I know it was possible! With the keen eyes of Emma, one of our Talent Specialists, and the Art Team at Space Ape, the work I had been creating and sharing on social media was spotted, and I was given the opportunity to do my dream job.”
