Låt oss testa Aker fassi i årets #redlipsdecember . Aker fassi är en röd stain från Marocko, gjord av torkade vallmoblomblad och granatäppelskal, med djupa rötter i Marockansk kultur. Det har använts i hundratals år och används oftast på läppar eller kinder — men går även att använda som ögonskugga. Det finns olika färgvariant men jag valde en klassisk röd. Färgen går att använda torr för en mjukare applicering eller aktiveras med vatten (som i videon) för en skarpare färg. . Aker fassi sägs vara rikt på antioxidanter vilket skyddar huden, men jag har i skrivande stund inte hunnit kolla upp vetenskapliga belägg för detta. . Utöver kosmetisk användning används aker fassi som en del av kulturella och religiösa ceremonier och har, som jag tidigare nämnde, djupa rötter i Marockansk kultur. CPHFW Day 4: Rave Review with @izabellalarsson as key . Last show for the week was at the Swedish embassy in Copenhagen. Hair and makeup was set up in the guest bedroom. There was an Albert Einstein portrait on the wall. Needless to say I felt right at home. (Did you know I have an Albert E=mc^2 tattoo on my foot?) . Got less and less nervous for every show. First came the mattes, then the satins and now MAC have reformulated the Powderkiss lipsticks 💄 . Products: Lip liner: MAC ”Cool spice” Lipstick: MAC Powderkiss hazy matte lipstick in ”Stay curious” — also used as blush . I was honestly never of the old ones but this has what I felt the old ones lacked: moisture and protective properties for harsh scandi winters 🥶First impressions: IMPRESSED 10/10 . December 31st. New years eve. The last red for this year. Finally… tbh 😂 I’m so sick of seeing my own face. I don’t wanna take another selfie for a month at least. THANK YOU to everyone who have joined and especially those of you who stuck around all month! You’re amazing! Today’s red and the final one for this round is My Shayla: Centre of attention. This is SO GOOD 🤤 The colour is amazing and truly suits every skintone. I’ve seen it on everyone from an NW5 to a NW58, and everything in between, rock this and it slaps every time. It’s a BRIGHT, true, glossy red. Very hydrating. My dry, flaky lips were hydrated and smooth by mid day. Need to reapply after lunch but I don’t mind. For a glossy red it lasts well enough. Pair it with the lip liner with the same name for best result! . There is a batch issue with A45 though so don’t get that one (the colour is off). . What to do when the red lipstick in question doesn’t suit your undertone? Improvise, adapt, overcome. Today’s red is Lady danger — a GORGEOUS, vibrant orange red that makes my skin look like I’ve been dead for two weeks… in the least flattering way possible. #redlipsdecember I still love her though so today I mixed Lady danger with ”Cherry” lip pencil. A blue based red. Something that suits my purple undertone much better. Result: perfect. Formula is a comfortable, light weight matte that lasts and wears well. Full pigmentation. Reapply after lunch but other than that you’re good to go all day. . Another nude red for today. I felt bad for having pretty much only highly pigmented, intensely red lipsticks all month. If you’re not used to red lipsticks or you just don’t like them… why are you here? 🤨 No, I mean this is for you!! Today’s red is MILK Cooling water jelly tint in ”Spritz” worn on lips and cheeks. Paired with MAC ”cool spice” lip pencil for a defined but toned down red lip. #redlipsdecember As for the cheeks: I LOVE this, especially on bare skin. It’s very very pretty and looks like a natural flush. As for the lips: this just does not last on me?? It says tint but it barely tints my lips? 🤔 I had to apply several times to get to this level of pigmentation (which tbf is GREAT when used as blush, I don’t want bright red cheeks) It feels like nothing on the lips. 100% weightless, so if product on your lips bothers you thisnis definitely worth a try. All in all: I like this. A lot. It’s a very pretty lip that goes just as well with a bare face as it does a smokey eye. .
