i was inspired by the backrooms and other different types of liminal spaces to make one giant combination of them. when i started this painting, i was stepping out of my comfort zone a bit and decided to create something more fun and playful that kind of moved away from my more serious work after i was given a ‘dreams’ prompt in one of my painting classes. i don’t usually paint sceneries, but painting this was really fun so this is probably gonna be the start of a series in the future
