Another 1️⃣ in the history books! Shoutout to @sovaykubz for getting me on stage again after my long hiatus. Last weekend was a really important and special occasion for me considering i hadnt performed since 2024. I had never performed with my brothers, so it was great energy everybody that came thru… thankyou❤️ Now its back to putting that work in for the rest of the year

VIBETRIBE was born out of real connections through blood, brotherhood, and the grind. Atahan, a seasoned voice in Sydney’s local scene, brought his younger brother Aykubz and cousin Tarksy into the fold in early 2024, introducing them to King Maliq and Waveyface two artists already building under State of Vibes. What started in a home studio quickly evolved, leading the group to a dedicated creative space in Ultimo. The chemistry was real, and the name VIBETRIBE came naturally.
Now, each member plays a key role. Atahan leads with experience, guiding the team while still on the mic. King Maliq is the group’s main engineer, producer, and the head of State of Vibes. Waveyface brings a distinct energy and is currently working on his first solo EP. Aykubz has grown rapidly, crafting a joint EP with Atahan and finding his voice. Tarksy, quiet but sharp, continues developing his sound behind the scenes. United in purpose, VIBETRIBE moves as one, to grow, to create, and to spread nothing but good vibrations.
The artist, activist and known role model Atahan has been more than just a story of a boy who adopted creativity to express the pain and difficult lifestyle of growing up in a broken household in Sydney’s south. Atahan is a mantle, for anyone who has had to fight adversity in their life.
At the age of 14 Ata (short of his full name) has been dealing with many challenges, including underage substance abuse, close friends passing away at the tender ages of teenage hood. Although these events were traumatic for Ata, he was always able to overcome them and focus his mentality on the craft that he had fallen cupid for. That outlet was music.
In his youth Ata was known as the shy kid, in class he was never one to attract too much attention, he thought that it was an dishonour to others to be somebody that flaunts. He would rather sit in silence during lunch times and draw in his artbooks that his grandfather had bought him. Atahans grandfather (Orhan Gazi) was a huge influence on him. Orhan Gazi was a musician who travelled from a rural village in Turkey’s mid north territories to Sydney Australia. Atahan always wanted to get the appraisal of his grandfather, not his peers.
Since then Atahan has revolutionised himself many times. Although his latest self reflections have altered his path in a total 180 degree manner. Atahan’s message today to motivate and inspire others to chase their dreams no matter how much adversity they may come across.

After one year since my last single ‘Routines’ has come out ‘Whispers’ is finally ready for release. People who have heard it already say it’s similar to The Gift Freestyle which was one of my best releases from my early days. This track is dark, gritty, raw emotion. I remember when @mansusknight sent me the beat and it was called WINE GLASS 🍷
I mulled over it, let it simmer then took a shot at writing to it. I decided to name it Whispers due to the fact that theres always going to be people in the background spinning your story, your accomplishments even though they have no clue on what you have endured. This one’s only the first of many!

1 year ago we embarked on this new chapter, all of us with something to prove, to ourselves. Effort, study, adversity aside we prevail. After @aykubz performance last night im feeling mad inspired! So heres some snippets of what weve been cooking. This is only the start!

My first release of this 2024 ‘Routines’ is finally out now on all streaming platforms.
Its been a great creative process from start to finish.
I took my time with this record. @mixedbyespa and I sat together when mixing the stems. All the way to when @jacksonemmanuel.rios and myself had several phone calls/discords about shooting the video (which is also set to drop soon) None the less I wanna thank everyone thats been a part of this tracks evolution.
