Sneak peek - big activity on this Earth Day 2024! #Biopool was filled today. Big congratulations to @campionhrubyla@brherr30@southforkstudio@bayviewbuilders@neil.thompson.31105 on the amazing design and construction of this essential part of the project!
The "biopool", designed by @campionhrubyla , in consultation with @southforkstudio and @brherr30 , and built by @brherr30 , with structural engineering by @1200ae , forms the southern boundary of the house and site at our project on Whitehall Creek. The angular geometry of the house gives way to the organic shapes of the landscape, overlapping with the "biopool". Biopools comprise ecosystems that use aquatic plants to maintain their balance. The water is purified through plants and aggregates, without the use of chemicals. A filtering system oxygenates the water to maintain its clarity.
