We chose to hang this piece by @sourcematerialstudio against Machiya by @stleointeriors This red-brown has a rich body made up of red and yellow pigments with timber undertones which gives it a super warm profile.
Burgundy’s work brilliantly as a deep neutral as they have a grounding weight to them whilst blending seamlessly - especially when paired with artwork like this which draw out the red tones of the digital strokes.

Etté was invited to work on redesigning their Clerkenwell showroom for Craft Week with Soft Focus, an installation-led exhibition exploring the spatial and perceptual impact of colour. With JOY has the creative brief, we have enjoyed delving into what Joy means to us emotionally and physically and especially with colour at the heart. Alongside Carl Hansen & Son, we have we working with @kvadrattextiles@stleointeriors@sorensenleather & @sourcematerialstudio to creative an exhibition celebrating colour, form and feel.

Dorset Visual Arts recently announced the appointment of three new trustees to our board. All three trustees bring with them a wealth of experience, knowledge and expertise and will support our existing board to manage Dorset Visual Arts and its activity.
Next to join our board is Laura Vent, a Creative Director and Freelance Producer and Founder of Source Material Studio, @sourcematerialstudio .
She shares “I am very happy to be joining the DVA board. My work is driven by a belief in the vital role artists play in shaping culture, and I am excited to support DVA and the communities it serves.”
