A huge result for what is essentially @jblaudio Consumer’s first product in the MI space - the JBL BandBox lands the front cover of the April issue of @soundonsoundmag, features in the editor’s foreword, and is the subject of a glowing review from Paul White.As UK distributor, we were proud to introduce the BandBox product team to the Sound On Sound editorial staff at NAMM earlier this year, then arrange demo units for review on our return.Sam Inglis called its AI stem separation “a grounded, practical application for AI that makes obvious sense”, while Paul White said he found it “easier and faster to get a decent recorded guitar sound” from the BandBox than from some major amp modelling packages.Check out the full review and foreword in the April issue.

We’re here today at the @promobilemag Conference — a two-day event built around learning, networking and professional development for mobile and event DJs.We’re representing @jbl_pro, powering the main stage with a pair of PRX925 tops and a pair of PRX918XLF subs.In our branded demo area we’ve got a full portable rig set up for hands-on listening and chats in between sessions: PRX ONE, EON ONE Mk2, EON ONE Compact, plus an EON700 series top + sub — all running through a @soundcraftmixers Ui24R, controlled from an iPad.Our very own JBL Pro Brand Manager Ryan delivered a stage presentation on the JBL Pro range and why it’s so well suited to the mobile professional. Some packed crowds yesterday and looking to be more of the same today!In the Pedal Area we’ve got the JBL BandBox Solo and Trio set up for hands-on demos — attendees can bring their own guitar or use one of our demo ones, with product specialists on hand to talk them through it.Up on the mezzanine in the Synth Area it’s Modal, with a selection of units from the Cobalt, Carbon and Argon families on headphones-only demos. They’ve arrived! The first UK shipment of the @jblaudio Bandbox Solo & Trio has landed at our warehouse today.Just as importantly, they didn’t stay in our warehouse for long. The delivery was processed immediately on arrival and the first units have already been allocated and dispatched!Using real-time on-device Stem AI, Bandbox can separate vocals and instruments from any streamed track, allowing players to remove parts and play along in ways that previously required prepared stems or backing tracks.
