- IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR BERLIN ARTS & CLUB COMMUNITY - PART TWO -
After our first post two weeks ago, Alexander Skora ( @alexander.skora ) offered us to pick-up our things from 10:00 - 11:00am the next morning. The mail was sent at 07:30am. Giving us two hours of notice time.
We emailed him back asking for another date with enough notice time & at least 2-3 hours in the space to collect the speakers & other equipment.
He emailed us back four days later, changing his mind - that actually, the contracts and receipts we sent him are not enough proof of ownership to give us back our speakers & equipment - telling us that we should figure it out with Sports Raum. ( @sports.raum )
Since Alexander Skora simply doesn’t want to give our property back - we are going to pursue legal action.

We want to share with our community the reason for our absence and make it clear why we haven’t been able to deliver our usual sound sourcing.
Since the unfortunate closing of Sports Raum - 7 weeks ago. The sound system and technical equipment which we have been building for the last years remain locked inside.
The equipment was showcased and used there as part of our collaboration with Sports Raum, who were evicted by landlord Alexander Skora

We have complied with all of Alexander Skora’s requests for contracts with Sports Raum and proof of ownership. Despite this, no access has been granted and our requests have been ignored.
We simply want our property returned so we can provide sound to the people again.

Thrilled to announce that the second Sound Source gathering is happening on December 7th, 2024 - nearly half a year later after we built the mono system in May.
Since then, the system has doubled in size and power.
Doors open at 20:00 with sound source selections warming up the speakers for a delicately crafted music journey that will traverse the depths of bass, rhythm & sonics.
Traditional Vietnamese “Banh Mi” Sandwiches will be served in the beginning of the evening & into the night

Immense gratitude to everyone for showing up to the soundsystem’s first appearance in the wilderness.
2 months later, we have finally settled down after the wicked day that we all shared together on May 1, 2024.
Luckily, the absolute legend that is @mechanoreceptor_ has transformed his recorded bits into an after-movie for us to reminisce upon until the end of our days…
